Cody Ross keeping the streak alive

Cody Ross kept his current consecutive hit streak alive in the final game against the Dodgers.

Cody Ross extended his hitting streak to 17 games with a single in his final at-bat Sunday. His hitting streak is the longest by a Marlin since 2005, when Alex Gonzalez also had a 17-game streak.

...Ross singled up the middle in the seventh.

Not bad.  Not bad, at all.  Cody still has a ways to go to match the Marlins team record of 35 set by Luis Castillo.  But if he wants to break it, I'm all for it.
