Logan Kensing sent down

As you all know by now, as Jrsyeagle reported in the comments, Logan Kensing was sent down to make room for Josh Johnson.

The Marlins optioned pitcher Logan Kensing to Class AAA Albuquerque following the game to make room for Josh Johnson, who will be added to the roster today.

Much the same as Fishcrazy, this was a bit of a surprise to me.  Kensing has been having control problems but I didn't think he was the next one in line to head to the minors.  Although I'm not sure Albuquerque is the place to go to work on control issues, but if you can pitch there, you can pitch anywhere.

Logan

Everybody seems shocked he got sent down, but I thought it was a good move.

Maybe its just me, but it seemed like he allowed runs and was wild every time I saw him pitch since returning from the DL.

If we’re talking one scoreless inning, I’m a little more confident in Tucker right now.

Fun Fact

Check out his game log
The Marlins have lost the past 15 of 16 games where he has pitched.
