The Marlins are going to try and keep the winning momentum going.

With Badenhop having to pitch out of the pen yesterday, the highly touted pitching prospect, Ryan Tucker was called up to make today's start. and his Major League debut.  For more on today's starter may I direct your attention to Nynolelaw's Fan Post,  he has the bases covered.

Harang can't seem to get any run support of late.  In his last start against the Fish he went 7 innings giving up 7 hits, 4 runs and 3 home runs.  Harang has made 6 day game starts this year and has posted a 1.96 ERA during the day.

Ichthyomancy is ready for the usual Sunday day game.  Best of Luck to You!

I heard on the radio earlier that Tucker will stay in the starting rotation (something to do w/ the 40 man roster) and that Griffey Jr is playing today because Griffey Sr is at JRS

Hey Craig,

The fantasy auction is this Tuesday.

Will FishStripes be bidding on something this year?

Wow...

our last year’s bid was on the board in video promotion for the auction. Of course the site was missed spelled as Fish Straps, but that probably had more to do with my accent than their comprehension abilities.

Florida State punched their ticket to the CWS....

Miami plays at 7:00 p.m. tonight but maybe even more importantly, Rice also plays at 7:00.

Thoughts on today's game and my picks for tomorrow

Tucker was effectively wild today. As good as his fastball is, I worry about him throwing it so much once major league teams get video on him. He’s going to need to develop that slider (that he barely threw) in order to be an effective major league starter. If not, his fastball would work great with him coming out of the bullpen, even as a closer.

I’ve been having problems getting my posts to post lately so I’m going to post my picks for tomorrow now while I know it’s working.
