Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Reds at Marlins (6/7)

This losing to the Reds is getting old and it is time for the Marlins to end this travesty.
Olsen is coming off a pretty decent start against Atlanta and I'm told that his velocity was up a little bit. That's good and hopefully it will continue to improve. Home runs remain a bit of a problem but he is only giving up solo shots and those can be handled.
Arroyo is coming off his second worst start of the season giving up 10 hits, 5 runs which included 3 home runs in 4.1 innings. The Marlins faced him earlier in the year in Cincinnati and at that time he pitched 7 innings giving up 0 runs and only allowing 5 hits. Arroyo's career ERA at JRS, however, is 6.23.
It's Super Saturday so if you head out to the stadium be sure to get your seat belt cover and ring your cow bell proudly. The after the game concert features Willy Chirino .

For anyone keeping score, our starting 3rd baseman from last year is hitting: .271/.352/.801 AVG/OBP/OPS with 8 HR and 34 RBI.
Our current starting 3rd baseman is hitting: .276/.329/.799, 10HR, 32 RBI.
Not too much of a drop off so far.

Tonight is an example of why you should never go to a baseball game with someone that a) isn’t a true fan and b) let them drive. My roommates father joined us at the last minute (actually, we were on our way to the game and he called and we had to turn around and get him) and then made us leave at the top of the 9th because he was tired. The first time I can recall leaving a game early in my life – never been so angry…
