Forget the last series, it's over, it's done with.  It is time to start anew.

The Diamondbacks are in town for a three game set and the sorta weird thing is the Fish are going to face the same rotation they did in May.  The Diamondbacks aren't as hot as they were when we saw them last time.  They are only 3-7 in their last 10 games.  But to be fair about this the Marlins have lost four in-a-row.

Nolasco has the stuff to shutdown the D-backs, or any other team for that matter.  But I'm still concerned about how effective he will be after being extended two starts ago.  Yes, he did well on five days rest last time out but I'm still concerned.  If this team, for any reason, loses Nolasco and/or Olsen, the season is probably over.

The last time the Fish saw Owings he pitched pretty well against us, going 7 innings, allowing 3 runs and striking out 10.  Owings is in a bit of a cold spell losing his last two starts and giving up 10 runs in the process.  The other thing about Owings is he can flat out hit.  So there will be no easy outs in the Diamondbacks lineup tonight.

Ichthyomancy be loving Friday.  Good Luck to everyone!

I really liked Beinfest as the guest announcer. Samson, not so much.

i doubt anyone is still up here

but I foudn this article mentioning allison and comparing him to hamilton very interesting… the paragraph is definitely worth the read. Plus, how many people here actually new about his all-star team appearance?

That's good but,

What happened to the rain out game against the Reds on 5/15?

On that note, if we play them again, I hope Arroyo pitches.
