Jai Miller the next great manager?

Jai Miller didn't even have enough time to order his cup of coffee before being sent back down.  However, his future may be bright.

Miller has something in common with Walter Alston, but the Marlins' outfield prospect hopes to have a longer playing career than the former Dodgers manager did.

Miller entered Sunday's game in the seventh inning in center field and struck out in one at-bat..

---

Alston struck out in his only career at-bat for the Cardinals in 1936 before going on to a legendary managerial career.

I'm guessing that yesterday's game won't be Miller's last in the majors.  Although you never know.  If it turns out that was his one and only shot, considering going into managing Jai, history maybe on your side.
