Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Athletics (6/20)

The Marlins resume the road trip and will take on the surprising A's. No, it isn't ironic that I call the A's surprising and not the Marlins. I don't have any trouble believing the Marlins have slugged their way into second place in the standings. The A's, however, I never saw their success coming this season. Then again, I don't spend any time studying the AL.
Hendrickson, I guess did better in his last start, going 5 innings and only allowing 3 runs. It was an improvement over his previous 4 starts. In other words, the bullpen will see a lot of action tonight.
Harden is just flat good. He strikeouts a ton of hitters but every now and then he will walk a few. Harden should be on a strict pitch count tonight since the A's won't risk their ace who had some shoulder problems earlier in the year. The sooner the Marlins can get him out of the game, the better.
Ichtyomancy note: Treanor is expected to start at catcher.

Understood...
I would understand it if he got up and started throwing before Danny’s AB but he was warming up before the half inning began. If he does that every inning, he may end up throwing 100 pitches in the pen.
