Hey all just signed up wanted to say how much I enjoy reading here the past few weeks... I just decided to sign up and join the fun! And that Ichto- Ichytom- however u spell it sounds like a lotta fun...

About me.. Im 21, big Marlin fan since they were created. Favorite all-time Marlin was Renteria because of '97, now its Uggla cuz he's a beast. I live in Broward and try to go to games as much as possible..

Glad you’ve emerged from lurkerdom. I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun here. Besides getting the latest Fish news, there’s always Ichthyomancy. Make sure you get your picks in for tomorrow’s game when the thread is posted. There are still enough games left that you could finish strongly with some creative AABs.

I still remember my earliest Marlins experience, back when the Yankees and Orioles played a couple exhibitions in Joe Robbie Stadium. It was kind of a test-run for the feasibility of a team here, so the stadium was packed—as I recall, about 70,000 for the first game, and about 45,000 for the second. I was at the second with my parents. And then a couple years later, we had our own team!

Now if only we could bring back the teal…
