Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Brewers at Marlins (5/6)

OMG, I'm so out of time.
The Brew Crew are in town for a three game set and it should be entertaining to say the least. Normally I would've thought that the games versus the Crew would be lower scoring in JRS than in Miller Park, but I don't see how that could possibly happen. Both of the teams offensives are too dynamic to stay down for long.
Olsen is coming off his worst start of the season, going only five innings and giving up four runs. Which by Marlins standards, is a pretty good outing but it isn't by Olsen standards.
If you thought Olsen had a tough outing last time he pitched, you ought to checkout Suppan's turn on the mound. Three and two-thirds while giving up 8 ER isn't what anyone would call a thing of beauty. But don't expect to see a repeat of that tonight since he, historically, pitches pretty well at JRS. (3-1, 2.65 ERA)

What do you think is logic in putting a marlin up there at all? I saw that too, as it’s my homepage, and i frequent it about 20 times a day. (Sorry fishstripes should be the homepage, but not yet).

great game
i thought for sure gregg would walk in a run on the first batter, but hey, one pitch and it’s ballgame. great outing for olsen, who’s really rolling. i think we’ll need to lean more on our pen for the next 2 games so this was huge. now if we could just get arizona to whoop up on philly, we’re all set.

I was jumping up and down with every pitch. Depressing cause we saw how much olsen wanted that game (cg and sho). You could tell he just couldnt do it anymore, he had nothing left.
But after this game I think he may even get a couple more chances to get that SHO this year.
