The Marlins are going for the series win today but I'm told that the starting pitching match up doesn't favor the Fish. I wonder where they got that idea?

Miller, it is the same as it has been all season long, can he finally find some control. Treanor should be catching, so maybe that will help out a little.

Maddux is going for his 350th career victory, something that only eight pitchers have ever achieved in the history of the game. Maddux has made three previous attempts at 350 but has yet to be successful in achieving the mark. He will eventually get the win needed, but today really isn't a good day for it, if you ask me...though no one ever does.

Uggla

I don’t know what happens to danny boy at the end of April and beginning of May but he looks awesome at the plate right now, and I take everything back I was saying about him before (though now he’ll probably go into a slump). Obviously we have to leave him at the 6 spot and I hope he can keep it up and even get his average over 300 (j/k?)
