PrintThe NL East Leading Marlins have an off-day and that is not necessarily bad. It will give the bullpen a day of rest and maybe some of the hitters a chance to clear their heads.
In the meantime, this is the normal Chum Bucket, where everything is fair game. You can talk about movies, women's softball (which I will be watching tonight), the newest gallery exhibit, but baseball is always the favorite topic and especially Marlins baseball.
Note: today is very light on posts and tomorrow will probably be lighter due to the fact that my day job is really interfering with my fun job. But this sometimes happens and there is nothing I can do about it.

So, does anybody know about this guy….I’ve seen very limited info about him but I know he’s pretty decent. Is he a potential starter for us….how’s his defense…etc….I know he plays 2b, so that does mean he’s a possible replacement for Uggla if we look to move him?

You know somebody is starting in Class AA that is doing better than Volstad?
I will go with Ryan Tucker for the second question...
but I still like Volstad for potentially having a better major league career. Then again I’m wrong about a lot of things.
