Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Giants at Marlins (5/25)-Game Two

San Francisco Giants at Miami Marlins, May 25, 2008 4:35 PM EDT

The Game One open thread is in the post below this one.

This is the open thread for Game Two of the double header.

The Marlins pitcher is TBA.  It will probably be either Burke Badenhop or Logan Kensing.  Fredi is waiting to see how many pitchers are used in the first game before he announces the starter for game two.

The Giants are expected to go with Patrick Misch.

Game time will be around 4:40 p.m.

Normally it is thirty minutes after the first game ends.

Misch is a lefty so expect to see Cody playing somewhere.

The accuracy of anything I wrote above, is not guaranteed.

Ichthyomancy is ready for game number two, so Good Luck!

NOTE: I have no idea whether we will get two attendance figures or just one.  My guess is we will get just one for both games.  But whatever the case may be, an attendance point will be awarded for each game.

All I can say is,

I don’t envy craig for having to figure out all these picks once the doubleheader is over.

Hi Craig

It’s been a while – a year I think. I like the look of the new site. It’s different, but seems pretty cool. Glad to see you’re still here taking care of fishstripes. How ‘bout the Fish, huh? Pretty great season so far. Anyway – just wanted to leave a hello for you hear and the rest of the gang. I’ll try and stop by again sometime soon.

Oh, btw, only one year left of school!

Hey Man,

Great to hear from you!

Good luck with your final year. Have you decided on a speciality?

I know you are busy but drop by when you can, it is always nice to see one of the old gang.

And anyway, this is a good time to be a Fish Fan.

I don't know...

where you would find stats of the most thrown out baserunners in the bigs, but Treanor’s gotta be up there on the list. And with only half the playing time thus far!

Great games

To think, I would’ve been there all day had my friends not flaked on me.
So, big road trip coming up… I can’t wait for the Marlins to prove to the critics that they are for real and can play with the “big dog.” Heck, we’re only a half game back of having the best record in baseball!

-An aside; How crazy is it that two of the three best teams in MLB reside in Florida? The Fish and Rays are 59-40. It’d be interesting to see if both teams maintained this, and met in the fall…

I'm doin the Fish again. (Yeah, yeah, yeah.)

Mets game

I’ll be there tomorrow, 3rd base side, field level… wearing my RIP cabrera jersey probably… if I have time i’ll try to make a fishstripes sign

Uggla May MVP

I know I’m a bit of a homer, and I don’t follow the rest of the league that closely until they play the Marlins…but how can Dan Uggla not be the MVP of May in the NL?

Hot dang!

How sweet is a doubleheader sweep?

Man, I love this team.
