Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Giants at Marlins (5/24)-Postponed
San Francisco Giants at Miami Marlins, May 24, 2008 7:10 PM EDT
The NL East Leading Marlins are going to try this winning thing once again. Last night's effort looked like they were mailing it in after celebrating too long into the night after the sweep of Arizona.
But that was then, this is now.
The Hopper when he is on, he throws an excellent sinker when it down in the zone. Another aspic of his game requires the defense to actually to do their jobs.
Cain is coming off a rocky start the last time he took the mound, giving up 6 runs in 7 innings, including 4 home runs. He normally pitches a little better at home than on the road, However in the past, he has done well in JRS.
Jones is expected to make his first start, for the Marlins, in center tonight. From my understanding, he will take over the platoon duties in center against right-handed pitchers.
Tonight is another Super Saturday. The after game entertainment is Stevie B and Lisa Lisa .
Ichtyomancy is pretending like it is ready. So Best of Luck to you!

Okay, so here's a question.
We all know the retractable-roof stadium will prevent rain-outs, and supposedly boost attendance.
But what about getting there?
It’s already extremely difficult to get around Miami-Dade even in sunny conditions. My great fear is that we’ll have a nice new stadium, but people will still stay away on rainy days because it’s a pain to get to the stadium in the rain.
Am I needlessly concerned?
