Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Reds (5/15) -- POSTPONED
Miami Marlins at Cincinnati Reds, May 15, 2008 7:10 PM EDT
The NL East Leading Marlins are in sweep avoidance mode tonight. All of the games in this series have been close, but unfortunately the good guys have yet to win one. With any luck, that will change for the better this evening.
The young Mr. Miller is looking for his third quality start in-a-row. As always in a Miller start, it is all about control. If he has command of his pitches he is nasty. If he doesn't, he is nasty in a different way.
Belisle is coming off a rough start against the Mets, going 5.0 and giving up 5 ER. Belisle hasn't pitched more than 5.1 innings in any start this season. After erasing some of my commentary, let's just say we match well against him on paper.
Ichthyomancy is far from ready, but will take your picks. Good Luck!

Not an AAB, but if A. Miller has a QS I’ll take back all of the snide comments I’ve made about him.
Build a stadium downtown and I'll buy season tickets
Nice story about Hendrickson
I came across this article this morning. It’s about Hendrickson reaching out to a young man who was diagnosed with cancer on Mark’s birthday. I think it’s a nice story, well worth a quick read.
