Andy Fox's new hobby

Andy Fox has too much time on his hands .

First-base coach Andy Fox timed Tuesday's national anthem in 2 minutes, 32 seconds, an ''all-time record'' in his journal. Using a stopwatch, Fox times the anthem before every game and logs the info in his notepad. Tuesday's rendition broke Fox's journal record set last season by two seconds.

Isn't that stopwatch suppose to be used for company business like timing the pitcher to home plate?  Then again, maybe timing the national anthem is company business.  Who knows.

OCD

In the outside world this is considered abnormal. In baseball, this seems to be pretty common.
