Brett Carroll will, supposedly, get to start an actual big league game, some day .
Fredi Gonzalez said he intends to put Brett Carroll in the lineup as soon as a left-hander appears. But no left- handers are scheduled through the weekend.
I will believe Carroll is the lineup, when I see it. In the meantime, his job will be to continue wasting away on the bench.
