Odalis Perez vs Scott Olsen

Complete Coverage >

The Marlins are going for their fourth series win of the season today.

Olsen will have two competing forces working on him in today's game.  The positive force is he off to a very good start this season and he has been close to lights out in JRS.  The negative force is that historically he doesn't pitch well in day games where his ERA increases about 2 earned runs per game over night games. So it's Day Games Suck v. Good Momentum.

Perez can't buy a break this season.  And hopefully he won't find one in his price range today.  He pitched pretty well in his last two outings only to be saddled with a loss in both contests.  Perez is a lefty so look for Cody to man center once again.

Ichthyomancy has rolled out of bed and is wiping the sleep from its eyes all the while cursing day games.  Even with all of that, it's ready for your picks.  So, Good Luck!

Note: Welcome Big Cat Country!  And..uh..Go Jaguars!

Terrible call

Boone was about a foot off the bag when he caught it…

Also Scotty no-hitter through 4…

Boone - No Doubt

I think I remember a similar play last year when Boone made a close out at first (for FL) and was walking toward the dugout, then the runner was called safe.

Gotta be the same ump.

You can type “NL East leading Florida Marlins.” This is one of the few times I’ll have love for the Phillies.
