Marlins season ticket sales lagging

The Marlins season-ticket sales for 2008 have yet to reach the 2007 level.

Samson also said Marlins' season-ticket sales are a "little bit down" from last year's estimated 5,000, but he expects to reach that modest mark as the season unfolds.

"We're going to match last year – definitely," he said.

Let's see the club traded the two most popular players and season-ticket are lagging -- I wonder why?

But even if they weren't, 5,000 isn't exactly a number to proud of.  This can mean only one thing, better television ratings for 2008.
