Marlins contribute to the Robinson Museum

The Florida Marlins once again lends their support to a worthwhile organization.

On the occasion of its 35th anniversary, the Jackie Robinson Foundation announced plans on Monday night for a Jackie Robinson Museum located at the foundation's new national headquarters at 1 Hudson Square in lower Manhattan.

The Mets and Yankees are among nine Major League Clubs, along with the Dodgers, White Sox, Rangers, Marlins, Athletics, Padres and Phillies that contribute funds as sponsors to the Foundation that has provided $16 million in support to nearly 1,200 scholars since its inception.

(emphasis is mine)

When it comes to helping out a good cause, the Marlins, as in this case, are first class.
