Radio Radio

790 The Ticket has announced their weekly interview lineup of the Marlins brass.

Manager Fredi Gonzalez agreed to do a weekly show with Sedano that will air 11 a.m. next Wednesday and 1 p.m. all subsequent Wednesdays (when Sedano's show switches time slots). Marlins executives Larry Beinfest and Michael Hill will alternate on a weekly segment with Sid Rosenberg at 8:30 a.m. Mondays.

This ought to be a welcomed change from the Marlins personnel appearing on the Dan Le Batard show, which was always a joke.  Now, I don't know radio and what gets good ratings, but sophomoric humor and every stereotypical sound effect that the writers for the Simpsons parodied didn't do it for me.

Mr. Le Batard writes insightful articles from time to time, but that radio program of his did nothing for me.

Your opinion my vary.

I don't think Rosenberg is going to be much better. Sedano is more of a basetball guy. What happened to Boog? I'm pretty loyal to WQAM though. It's going to be hard to remember to change over at night.

Boog Sciambi

He's leaving 790 to do more Braves and ESPN games.

I agree with Craig, LeBatard is a clown, but I like the interviews with Rosenberg. The players seem to like talking to him. He had Uggla on today...

Sad to see Boog go! He was a very balanced and insightful host. I don't know why he gave up the best job in the world: Radio announcer for a MLB club. Maybe he is in line for a full-time job with the Braves.
