lineup
Seeing as were two weeks from the opening pitch, does anyone have a projected lineup and rotation?  This thing is shaping up pretty interestingly. It bothers me that we are so egregiously rushing the development of some players. I think miller is ready for a lineup spot but I don't like the fact that volstad and maybin may be regulars to start the season. I also understand that woods role is filled by a combo of other players (Ross and gonzo ) but I'd still like him on the bench as a veteran that can still get some things done at the plate (lenny Harris anyone?).  Any suggestions/observations?

Wes Helms
MLB Trade Rumors cites a Baseball Prospectus article that says the Braves and Marlins are interested in Wes Helms.

Philly is apparently shopping him for a lefty reliever.

Not sure where BP's John Perotto is getting his info (I'm not a subscriber and thus didn't read the article), because I can't see any need for Helms right now on our club.  Further, I don't see the logic in giving up any of our most precious (and precarious) asset right now, pitching.

Wes Helms
John Perotto doesn't give a source but after reading it doesn't come across that the Marlins are actively pursuing Helms.

This could just be leftover info from earlier this spring when the Marlins had some interest in Helms.

The jest of the article is that the Philly wants a lefty in return for Helms which may make a trade with either the Dodgers or the Giants the way to go.

No room for old men
Between Gonzalez and Wood I figured we got the old guy off the bench thing covered.

As far as the lineup is concerned:
My guess/hope is

CF De Aza
RF Hermida
SS Ramirez
LF Willingham
2B Uggla
1B Jacobs
3B Cantu
C  Traenor/Raebelo
P  Hendrickson/Olsen/Miller/Nolasco/VanDenHurk

Still a lot of pop in there, especially if Wilingham and Hermida continue to improve and Uggla can avoid a slump.
