BTBS NL East Preview

My SBN colleagues at Beyond the Box Score have put together their NL East preview.  While it is true that they run a Sabermetrics blog, they also use words in between the calculations.  So there is something for everyone.

I can't say I totally agree with their analysis, in that, Hanley Ramirez received very little protection, if any, from Cabrera.  Then again, maybe I'm wrong, but I find it hard to believe that the player batting third or fourth provides much protection for the leadoff hitter.

Also I don't agree that neither Rabelo or Treanor should be on a major league team.  As it is known, I favor defensive skills in the catcher position over hitting ability but that maybe a flaw in my thinking.

But anyway, give it a look.  It is pretty interesting.
