Chum Bucket
It's time for our Wednesday Chum Bucket, Woo Hoo!
Let's see, yesterday's quiz didn't go so well, so let's try another one. This one is much easier, maybe, which Marlins pitcher posted the lowest ERA in a single-season? (Minimum 162 innings pitched)
In sports tonight, it is once again college basketball galore. So if hoops are your thing, knock yourself out. It is so early in the season, it is hard to tell if any of these are important games and I sincerely doubt that they are. But hey, it might be better than watching some old rerun. Of course, reading a good book would put them all to shame, but then again, it is impossible to veg reading a good book. It all depends on what your goal is for the evening.
But we have to get to the evening to make that choice, so in the meantime: Have a Great Day!

Yeah, I'm going with him, too.
As I recall, in the year when Pedro won his first Cy Young (with the Expos), Brown also had an amazing year. I think his ERA ended up in the low 2.00s or thereabouts.
I know Livan and Dontrelle had pretty low ERAs in their rookie seasons, but they didn’t pitch anywhere near 182 innings. I think Al Leiter finished below 3.00 once or twice, and Pavano might’ve been there in ‘04. But Brown’s my pick.
This is fun…sorry I didn’t realize there was a quiz yesterday.

I'm a follower, not a leader
I’m going with Brown…
And if my memory serves me… he had 2 seasons just under 2… i think..
My second guess would have to be willis…

Everyone is a Winner!
It was Kevin Brown in 1996 with a 1.89 ERA.
