Joe Nelson signed a one-year $1.3 million contract to play for the Rays next season.
The Rays fans seem happy about this, and well they should be. It is a nice fit for both the Rays and the Nelsons. I know Joe and his spouse were hoping that he would land a major league job in Florida and he did.
