Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Arthur Rhodes being courted

So far this offseason, Arthur Rhodes is finding that he has some suitors.

While they also are looking for a closer, Detroit officials have contacted representatives for left-handers who would pitch in the seventh or eighth innings. Beimel, Darren Oliver (Angels) andArthur Rhodes (Marlins) are among them.

I have no idea whether the Marlins are still talking to Arthur's people, but it appears, they will  be up against at least one team that has, you know, money.

The early returns don't look good for him being a Marlin again.

Too bad.

One of the best and most unsung trades the Marlins have made in recent years. I hope they can find enough money for him.
