Chum Bucket

It's Monday.  Booooo!

But I guess all good things must come to an end and so it is true of the weekend.  But as the smallest consolation prize ever, we have the first Chum Bucket of the working week.  Yaay Us!

In the sports world, I guessing they are still play Monday Night football on Mondays.  Could be wrong about that, but I don't think I am.  Also, the college basketball season is ready to tip-off.  Normally college basketball catches my interest some time in March, but you may love to follow it all the the through, time to get watching.

For non-sports stuff, you can talk about tire fires, doughnuts, nuclear plants or dog races.  Guess which show I watched on DVD all weekend.

As always, Have a Great Day!

Pujols wins second MVP.

Ryan Howard second, Braun third, Manny fourth, Berkman fifth, Sabathia sixth.

I still think Chase Utley was just as valuable to the team as Howard. I tend to think that being a better all-around player has “value,” but I guess a lot of towering home runs makes up for abominable defense and enough strikeouts to make T. Boone Pickens invest in his swing.

And in the interest of shameless self-promotion, I should mention that in my final MVP list, I had four out of the top 5, and in almost the right order. The only one I didn’t include was Manny because I wasn’t sure if voters would reject him for spending only a few months in LA. But I also said that if they didn’t, he would finish third.
