Jeff Conine makes a Hall of Fame

Jeff Conine was inducted into the Rialto hall of sports.

The city Saturday added a couple names to its hall of sports heroes.

Tom Hoak, a legendary football coach at Eisenhower High School, was inducted into the Rialto Sports Hall of Fame at the Johnson Center Gymnasium alongside former professional baseball player Jeff Conine, himself a graduate of "Ike."

Congrats Niner!

He joins other luminaries such as:

Hoak and Conine join professional golfer Brandie Burton, speed skater and Olympic gold-medalist Derek Parra, Florida Marlins pitcher Ricky Nolasco and the late David Lang,

Ricky Nolasco was selected for the hall of sports before Conine?  Ricky must've had one heck of a high school career.

Not that Ricky isn't deserving but ahead of Conine?  Who would've thunk it.
