World Series Open Thread and Ichthyomancy (Game Five, Cont'd)
(Note: I apologize for the lack of posts today, but the day job is getting in the way, once again. And there is nothing I can do about that. Hopefully the site will return to normal tomorrow.)
Now onto the game.
The climate talking folks at the Weather Channel are convinced that the resumption of game five will happen tonight. Though, when I think of baseball weather a 31 degree wind chill with a 20 percent chance of rain, hardly qualifies..
It is going to be another night, of let the hands sting. Baseball was never meant to be played in the predicted conditions, Then again, Selig has always been one to subscribe to the theory of: Don't Worry about the Mule load the wagon down.
All of the bonus AAB picks are standing, that is, unless you would like to change your selection(s) in the tonight's comments. If you haven't made the bonus now is the time to do it.
Best of Luck to you!

i was just thinking last night when i couldn't sleep
that the extra off day allows philly to potentially bring back hamels on three days rest for a potential game seven on friday. advantage: philly

bs call, oh well congrats phillies, at least you made my ichthy picks come true…
Build a stadium downtown and I'll buy season tickets
Hmm
I was at least rooting for the Rays to extend it. Not a good way to end the series.
Oh and Jacobs could be going to KC for reliever Leo Nunez. I feel kind of bad for him, but at least he’ll get a chance to DH. You can say what you want about the Marlins but at least we’re not Kansas City.

List
I hope it’s your “people I think are as awesome as me” list and not your “people I must kill” list.
Build a stadium downtown and I'll buy season tickets
more like
“people who i must hurt in order to get the title that is mine” list.

good
As long as it’s not your “people I must kill list” I’m happy. And if you question the importance of staying off those lists you’ve never seen the end of Billy Madison.

haha
i know what you’re talking about.
