Florida Marlins Assistant GM up for a new post

We're catching up on some stuff that should've been posted yesterday.

The Seattle Mariners are looking for a new general manager and one of the ones who may be under consideration is Dan Jennings.

Two names that may still be on Seattle's list are Florida Marlins assistant Dan Jennings and (maybe) Milwaukee special assistant to the GM Jack Zduriencik.

Jennings is part of the scouting and player development part of the club.  Given that fact, it only makes sense that the Mariners would like to interview him.  That is assuming Seattle wants to rebuild their farm system and grow from within.

Should the Mariners decide to hire Jennings, it would be the Marlins loss and Seattle's gain.
