LCS Open Thread and Ichthyomancy (Day Six)
The League Championship Series keeps rolling along.
The only game: Rays (Sonnanstine) at Red Sox (Wakefield), 8:07 p.m.
Sonnanstine, up until this point, has made two starts against Boston and has yet to give up an earned run. Which is pretty impressive, but the weird part is: he didn't win either of them. When Sonnanstine pitches a beauty, the Rays don't score runs. When he gets shelled his teammates breakout the whupping sticks and get him the win. Go figure.
Wakefield, as you all know, is knuckleballer. He has made three starts against the Rays this season and didn't win any of them. If fact, the boys from St. Petersburg just flat hammered him his last time out. Wakefield pitches better at Fenway than he does on the road. Normally the colder it is, the less his knuckle ball dances. But adjusting to the floater is always difficult.
You know what to do as far as Ichthyomancy goes.
Best of Luck to You!

Awesome news from Buster
Front office “will not be forced” to trade any of the arbitration eligible players and ownership will allow it in the budget to keep who beinfest thinks necessary..
