Dan Uggla staying at second

According to this report Danny will be next season's second baseman.

Although moving Dan Uggla to third base was an option, the Marlins say they will keep him at second, with former Pirate Jose Castillo now the front-runner at third.

While none of that is surprising, I still don't like that Castillo is the front runner at third, but we have been over that before.

McPherson
Has anyone heard anything on the Dallas McPherson front?  Last I heard, he and the Giants were "moving in opposite directions," with the Marlins supposedly still in the running for his services.  But that was some time ago.  I would like to see him thrown in the 3B mix as well.  Cantu was another guy I thought we were on the verge of signing, but those rumors have gone quiet, too.
Yes, I have a prospect fetish. That's why I'm a Marlins fan.
