Say goodbye to Dontrelle

Literally. On, what I presume to be, January 24 you can say goodbye to Dontrelle in person.

Say goodbye to Florida Marlins All-Star pitcher Dontrelle Willis, who was traded to the Detroit Tigers, at 8 p.m. Thursday at The Park Sports Club in Seminole Paradise, 1 Seminole Way (off U.S. 441 north of Stirling Road) , near Hollywood. Willis will attend the event. You can also sign a giant goodbye card that will be presented to Willis. The sports bar will offer 50-cent chicken wings, $1.75 draft beers and $12 Michelob beer buckets. Part of the event will be VIP-only upstairs, but we're told fans downstairs will be able to meet Willis as well.

If you attend the event, be sure to let us know how it went. Oh, you might want to call The Park Sports Club to make sure you don't need reservations. You probably don't if you are planning on staying downstairs but it never hurts to make sure.
