Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Nationals (9/5)

The Marlins will be sweep avoidance mode as they play in their last game ever in RFK.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Sergio Mitre.

The Nationals are planning for Tim Redding to their bidding.

Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Let's face it, Mitre's gas gauge is on empty after throwing 143.2 innings this season.  Especially after he only threw a whole whopping 41 innings last year.  Perhaps he can find enough Petrol in the tanks to have his sinker ball sink for one more outing.  If not, I hope most of the bullpen enjoyed their day off last night because they will be needed tonight.

Redding has a 8.00 ERA in his last two starts in which he averaged about a walk an inning with a strikeout per game.  Righties tend to have the best luck against him.

Ichthyomancy is ready to leave RFK in the rearview mirror.

Here's today's Ichthyomancy pick table:

Points
The attendance for the game was 19,222.  The attendance point goes to C60.

Players earning a point: Hermida, Olivo and Barone.

A point goes to C60.

AAB points: It's likely that GameFish's pick came true, but I'm having a little trouble documenting it.  Other than that possibility, no one's pick crossed the plate.

Recap:

C60 +2

Congratulations to C60 and maybe GameFish!  If I missed anyone or anything, please let me know.
