Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Reds (8/26)

Sadly, the Marlins once again find themselves in sweep avoidance mode.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Daniel Barone.

I think the Reds are planning to start Tom Shearn.

Game time is 1:15 p.m.

Barone pitched very well in his last start going 5.2 IP and only giving one ER which came on a solo shot. This will be Barone's fourth start for the Marlins.

Shearn will be making his Major League debut after spending 11 years in the Minors. The 30 year-old went 7-10 with a 4.20 ERA in 24 starts and two relief appearances for Triple-A Louisville.

Ichthyomancy is somewhat awake for the usual Sunday day game.
