Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Braves at Marlins (6/30)

Last night is the archives and it's time to start anew.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Byung-Hyun Kim.

The Braves will counter with Tim Hudson.

Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Kim had rough outing in his last start but did manage to go 6 innings.  He normally hits the proverbial wall somewhere around 90 pitches.  Treanor may be catching or not since tomorrow is a day game before the start of a West Coast road trip.

Hudson got his clock cleaned the last time he faced the Marlins.  So now, he is only 10-1 lifetime against the Fish.  The pitching match up doesn't favor the Marlins, but strangely we win a fair amount of these.

The Post-Game concert will feature Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.  It is also Marlins Foam Fish Head giveaway night and last but not least, Marlins Car Flags will be presented to the first 5,000 cars.

Ichthyomancy is more than ready for the weekend.

Here's today's Ichthyomancy pick table:

Anybody else think . .
Fredi needs to lose it there?  Those were two horseshit calls in the 8th and he seemed to accept it for what it was.

Was my no rain delay pick no good?

Considering it rained all day...

Honestly, I didn't know what to do with it
Since I don't live in South Florida, I had no way to verify whether that was the greatest pick ever or the lamest.

It is true there was a chance of rain in the forecast for the game, but there is always a chance of rain in the forecast.

Given that I had no way of knowing the veracity of the pick, it was voided.  I didn't know what else to do.
