Walking Wounded

A very quick walking wounded report.

Jacobs isn't likely for tonight's game.

Don't expect to see Jacobs in tonight's lineup. He lost his grip on the bat, flinging toward first base, on two consecutive seventh-inning pitches. His sore right thumb likely needs time to settle down.

Cody will undergo more examinations on his hamstring.

Cody Ross will have an MRI on his left hamstring Tuesday.

---

As long as there isn't a tear, he is hopeful to be back not too long after he is eligible to come off the DL on May 20.

Since he heard a pop, a tear is a very real possibility.

And finally, I can't remember where I saw this but De Aza is still experiencing pain in his ankle when he runs.

That concludes today's report.
