Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Mets (5/1)

The Marlins are off to a good start in the series in New York, spending most of last night hitting 'em where they ain't.  Tonight the Marlins welcome back a pitcher from the DL.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Ricky Nolasco.

The Mets have Mike Pelfrey on tap.

Game is 7:10 p.m.

Nolasco is joining the team after rehabbing from his elbow injury.  He is not expected to go beyond 70 pitches since he hasn't stretch out his arm since the injury.

Pelfrey hasn't pitched very well so far this season, but did win his only decision against the Fish in 2006.  The Marlins have thus far posted a .286 batting average against him.

Dan is at the game, so look for him on TV.  While I have no idea what Dan looks like, he should be the one with a Marlins cap on.  As for the rest of our New York/New Jersey contingent, I don't know whether they will be able to make out to Shea or not.

Ichthyomancy is good to go.

Here's today's Ichthyomancy pick table:
