Around SBN: Will Rhymes 'Fine' After Being Hit By Pitch And Fainting

The Thinning Continues

Joe Dillon is the latest casualty.

Infielder Joe Dillon was sent to the minors. Dillon, 31, who spent last year playing in Japan and was signed as a free agent in December, was 3 for 12 in 14 games this spring.

When a player is given only 12 AB during spring training, they really never had a chance.  Which is understandable, in Joe's case, since Wood is having such a good spring and there are only so many spots for utility infielders.

But who knows, maybe a repeat of Run, Joe, Run will happen later in the season.
