Mike Jacobs Previewed

Beyond the Box Score takes a look at some the first baseman and Mike Jacobs is included among their numbers.  Beyond the Box Score is just about as confused as to what to think of Jacobs as the rest of us.  What they conclude is if Jacobs can't learn to hit at home or off lefties, he is going to need a good platoon partner.  But I'm probably over simplifying.  If you are a saber-head or just interested in statistical analysis, be sure to give it a look.  Beyond the Box Score is very good at what they do.
