PrintI haven't mentioned anything about A-Rod before now because I found it laughable.
Beinfest finally cleared the air.
"We do not plan on speaking with A-Rod or engaging in any type of contract negotiations with A-Rod,'' Beinfest said, relieving the rumor mill of a juicy tidbit.

"It probably doesn't make sense to have one player take up most, if not all, of your on-field payroll,'' Beinfest said.
Yeah, the Texas Rangers found that out first hand.
I wish A-Rod all the best but there is no way he will be a Marlin the foreseeable future.
