Chum Bucket

Well it is time for another Chum Bucket, so bring on anything.

The baseball awards keep coming today and so far the SB Nation is 5 for 5 in predicting the winners.  Personally, I'm not doing so well but however, I think today I should get this one right.

A bit of a warning, while I'm out of time today, I will seriously be pressed for time tomorrow so it may end up being very lightly posted.  But then again, you never know.

Have a Great Day!

Cabrera
Where does all of your Miguel Cabrera trade analysis talk take place at?  What kind of package from the Dodgers do you think the Marlins would settle with?  Would a package have to contain both Kemp and Kershaw?  LaRoche is probably a no brainer to a possible deal.

Frisaro article
on mlb.com seems to indicate that Angels have an edge in the Cabrera derby.  I could see where, all else equal, the Marlins would rather have Cabrera in the AL rather than the NL. He reported that the package start with Kendrick, of course, and would also include Adenhart and EITHER Wood OR Izturis!!! It better damn well be Wood!  Also, I know Adenhart is supposed to be a good arm, but looking at his stats last year, he certainly doesn't impress me as much as a Billingsley or even a Kershaw, even if Kershaw may require more seasoning before he is major league ready.

Bonds indicted...
Thus allowing Beinfest to swoop in with a league-minimum contract that gives us the best pinch hitter in baseball history.  You know, on the days he's not in court or in jail.

Do it Larry.  Do it Barry.  The rhyme means it's destiny.

petco was "cute"
but Dodger Stadium was amazing.  Have fun.  Don't get lost in the desert.
