Around SBN: Will Rhymes 'Fine' After Being Hit By Pitch And Fainting

Searching for a Closer

I'm starting to think that Owens ligament damage may be more of a concern than originally reported. Especially since the Marlins appear to be lining up every cheap contingency plan possible.

The Marlins, desperate for bullpen help, went to see ex-Marlin Antonio Alfonseca in a Dominican winter league game this week

The trip leads me to believe that a trade is off the table for the moment and they will be looking in-house for the upcoming season's closer, at least at the start.  Now, who that will be, is completely up for grabs.
