Open Thread and Heat-thyomancy: Heat at Mavericks (6/8)

Today, the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks begin their quest for an NBA title.
This is the first Finals apperance for each team.
Miami has a huge edge in Finals experience; Shaq has taken the trip with both the Lakers and Magic, and has some hardware to show for it. Same with Pat Riley. Gary Payton has two series under his belt, but is of course ringless due to one Michael Jordan and the 2004 Detroit Pistons.
Dirk Nowitzki has manhandled Udonis Haslem this season. Look for him to have a big series while the Heat try to find the best coverage for him.
These games will be determined by the team that controls the tempo. If the Heat can slow the tempo down and play a good half court game, they have a good chance of winning. However, if the Mavericks can run the ball, the Heat will be in trouble.
Another factor? Dwyane Wade's illness:

"Feeling better. Finally trying to get this virus out of me," Wade said, his voice sounding much huskier than usual because of the illness. "It's something that I've got to deal with. Decided to get back out there and get my conditioning going today and a little bit tomorrow, also, before the game." Coverage begins tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
Feel free to play around and leave picks ichthyomancy style. A note on attendance- Game five against the Suns saw 20,977 people filling the American Airlines Center.

in terms of points
Will this count for regular Ichthyomancy points--

I don't really care for basketball, but I might as well give it a shot if it's gonna be worth real Ichthy points

Nah
Not for real ichthyomancy. Sorry. this is just for fun, but I might try and think of a cool little prize for whoever wins this edition of Finals ichthyomancy, or rather, Heat-thyomancy. (lame, I know, but I couldn't think of anything else.)
