Around SBN: Will Rhymes 'Fine' After Being Hit By Pitch And Fainting

Willingham will be Activated Tonight

Josh Willingham will rejoin the club for tonight's game, as expected.

Josh Willingham, on the disabled list since June 7 with a sprained left hand, is expected to rejoin the Marlins for tonight's series finale in Baltimore.

Fantastic.  It will be good to have him back.  Hopefully he is in working order.

To make room on the the roster:

Chris Aguila was optioned to Triple A Albuquerque, N.M., after Wednesday's game to make room for Willingham on the roster.

Aguila during the recent call-up only started once and that was as the DH.  His only other appearance was as a pinch runner.

Being sent down is a very good thing for Chris.  If he is going to make it as a professional baseball player, he needs playing time and not to be riding the pine.

With the Isotopes, he can continue to improve.  And anyway, it gives him a chance to tell his Albuquerque teammates about how he was the good luck charm that sparked the winning streak.

It may not be true, but it has been my experience, that you can't always let facts get in the way of a good story.
