Around SBN: This Should Encourage Juan Mata

WBC

Whoa, yesterday was not a good day for the Marlins players.  Although Cabrera's team did have a better showing than D-Train's.

Miguel went 0 for 3, not to mention a throwing error, but his team finally beat Puerto Rico.

For a recap of the game:

VEN 6  PUR 0

Dontrelle had some control problems in his start against Korea.  Willis can't be solely blamed for the outcome of the game since there was little help from his teammates - thus the U.S. was unable to defeat a team from Asia for the second time in two days.  This one, however, wasn't put in the win column.

For a recap of the game:

USA 3  KOR 7

[Update]

VEN 1 DOM 2 F

Is anyone going to watch the tape replay of the Japan-Mexico game and doesn't want to know the score of the game? If so I won't update the score.

[Update] We have an affirmative, therefore the score will not be posted until the broadcast is over.

[Update]

JPN 6 MEX 1 F

I was watching the game
but missed that.  Since he stayed in I guess it wasn't too bad.
