Yeah
I agree 100%. I don't think this team will be too bad offensively. Certainly not much worse than last years. Basically, I see Delgado to Jacobs/Helms as the only major place where we are dying.

Now the pitching, on the other hand, will make me weep.

Center field
Concerns me a bit.  I guess I don't have the Eric Reed optimism that somebody here (can't remember who) has, and I still think Reggie Abercrombie is a year away.  Not sure if Chris Aguila is up to it, though I give him more of a shot than most people do, I think.  

On the other hand, production from third base will probably improve, and maybe right field too.

I'm optimistic on Reed
The biggest concerns I have are drop offs in left field, 2nd base, and first base. I think we can at least equal (and in rf, 3B, and catcher, surpass) last years totals at most of the positions.

I think Eric Reed can hit .285, with a .320 OBP and 35-40 sb. He has no power potential, but neither did Pierre. Plus he'll be a significant upgrade over Pierre in the field, as he's at least as fast and he doesn't have the arm of a 4 year old.

Last I heard Reed was having a horrid time in winter ball, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.  If he can just get on base at a decent clip that's something.

Left field depends.  If Willingham ends up out there the numbers will drop off, sure, but not necessarily dramatically (or at least not as dramatically as otherwise).  And maybe I'm crazy from the heat, but I still have hope that Miguel Olivo could yet put it all together.  He showed signs of it in his San Diego stint, though that's not enough of a sample to project from, but I guess I think there's still hope.  If Willingham ends up behind the plate then LF is likely a loss.  

Second base...I guess I want to see what this Uggla guy has got.  I can't say I'm hopeful, but I'm intrigued.  Hopefully I will see him a few times at Jupiter, getting lots of chances to win the job.  If we're just handing it over to Pokey Reese then never mind.
