Open Thread: Game 5 - Nationals at Marlins

Brian Moehler will make his debut as a Marlins starter tonight against Livan Hernandez, who of course started his major league career with the Marlins in 1997 as the World Series MVP.

Livan usually pitches well against his former club, so tonight should be an interesting matchup.

It will also be interesting to see if the Nats continue to be aggressive defending against the bunt (Vinny Castilla played very far in on more than a few occassions last night - including several no man on, two out situations).  It will also be interesting to see if the Marlins continue to bunt a little more often than they should (although that's a subject worthy of its own post).

It's me...
I'm not watching much of the Marlins game tonight.  Taking advantage of being able to watch the White Sox game live - the first I've seen live all year.

But I have the Sox on TV and the Fish on the radio...  So far the Sox are up early and the Marlins are down.

Well...
I like free baseball better when it goes my way.  Tonight's ending was disappointing.
