I heard the stories about former Marlins closer Ugueth Urbina a week or two ago. They were so sensational that I couldn't quite bring myself to believe them--let alone to talk about them here.

As of today though, it's different: Urbina's been arrested and charged with attempted murder, so I guess there's some truth to it.

I'm not sure what to think or what to say. With his mother being kidnapped about a year ago, there have been some rough times for Urbina. Hopefully the attempted murder charges are baseless, but where there's smoke there's often fire. And there's been a lot of smoke here for some time.
