Around SBN: How Not To Criticize Tom Brady For The Patriots' Loss

Padres East?

So are we going to turn into the Eastern chapter of GasLamp for the playoffs - at least for as long as the Pads are in it?  Or are we going to be more diverse in our rooting interests?

I know I have no other teams that I care about left at this point so I'll be all about the Padres from here on out...

Well, yeah...
I know you guys got them.  At least for the NL we can be SD central... for the Marlins world...

you may as well
Not that we'll get much in the way of TV time. We aren't flashy enough.

Maybe we can persuade Trader Jack to hang out in San Diego for the post season. He seems to have a certain knack in October. Or that could be the cigars.

Isn't it almost bedtime for you guys?
You have to be up early to watch the game tomorrow.

In some ways the early start is ridiculous (who in SD can watch a game at 10 am?), but at least they're not playing games at the same time like they used to.

I'm with whatshername
But from the NL, I'm hoping for the Padres. In the NL Champs poll I voted for the Braves. I know, I know.

Jerk.
Have you no faith?!?!

Let's go Pads!!!

It's just the law of averages
In a few more decades, after the Pads have kept going to the playoffs each year, I'll pick them to win the WS.

Wow
Wiggens is crazy loyal to his adopted team.

Almost
Leave out "loyal to his adopted team" and you've got it exactly.

I'd agree
with both statements.

I really am getting more and more excited about the Pads' chances.  I think they really do have a good shot.  Other than the Cards the NL is wide open and since they get the Cards in a short series they can beat them.  Since I really have no team left to root for and I have had such a great time with Gaslamp all year - I want to have something to keep me interested in the playoffs.  So...

GO PADS!!!!

Oh yeah - and I probably am crazy.  Whatcha gonna do?

Today is huge
They've got to win today with Peavy on the hill.

Carpenter is mortal and proving that could really help to set the tone for the Pads. If they get to him, they know they can hit anyone else on the staff.

So am I the only RED Sox fan here?
Hard to believe I'm outnumbered...we're everywhere!
Cause all we know is falling...
